The Letter is a monthly tangible correspondence from me, Little Door — multi-media artist and musician. Think of it like Song Exploder for your snail-mailbox. Part song club. Part pen pal. Part experiment in slow, intentional connection.
Each month you'll receive a physical letter in the mail, written vulnerably by a real human (no AI), the nucleus loosely held together around the song of the month.
Themes explore the tender and the personal (motherhood, sex, love, all the good stuff) and well as aquarian outer space ish that might push your edge and have you scratching your head in that good way: ecological reframes, developing agency and sovereignty in collapse times, exploring new ways to engage with technology, returning to the heart, and the nature of consciousness itself.
Since there is no existing method of sharing music that ring-a-dings my bell as a musician, I thought: why not make one up? And hell, maybe you’re tired of listening to music the usual way? Then babes, this is for you!
Each month includes ●
A letter
A song recording (demo, video, or release)
Lyrics (think poem or zine format)
A QR code linking to the ephemera garden — where you can listen to the song and explore curated finds: references, books, music, weird corners of the good internet, and whatever else feels worth leaving there for you
For people who still believe in mail, are curious about listening to music in a new way, are inspired by the act of creating imperfectly, want more slow things, and love humans!
